Odeva

Odeva is a women’s wear label deeply rooted in African fabrics along with accessories to match. The designer behind this label is Modupe Uhuangho-Egharevba. She is a graduate of Estate management, University of Lagos. Her love for fashion and fashion accessories made are start her own fashion line in hat making during her first year in the university which she started from her mother garage. She made a huge success of this line of fashion that she opened her first boutique in May 2000 on Ogunlana drive surulere Lagos.In 2001 her drive and love for fashion took another turn when circumstances forced her to design and make her own fashion clothes for the models that were to display her hat pieces and accessories for the Nigerian fashion show both in Lagos and Paris France. She received praises and recognition for both her design in hats and indeed for fabric fashion design.

Today, Odeva represents the modern African woman deeply rooted in her beautiful African culture with her use of locally made fabrics, dresses are made with matching accessories that exude glamour and are designed with luxury materials like Vintage Aso Oke, adire and ankra. Odeva connotes elegant designs, attention to minute details, a knack for flawless finishing and interesting color combination with which she warms her way into the hearts of ladies all over the world.

Odeva has also participated in various fashion shows with particular emphasis in Nigeria and France. Her collections have been modeled in many beauty pageants. Odeva currently has boutiques in Surulere, Ilupeju and Ikoyi in Lagos and one in Abuja.
